- Sift 1–2 grams of matcha powder into a pre-warmed bowl. Add a splash of cold water and whisk with a bamboo whisk to form a smooth paste.
- Pour in hot water or warmed milk. Whisk in a 'W' motion until a rich froth forms on the surface.
- Serve immediately. For an iced version, pour over ice cubes. Enjoy hot or cold.
