- Bring a small pot of water to a boil. Add tapioca pearls and cook for 2–5 minutes (or as per package). Drain and rinse under cold water.

- Divide cooked pearls into two glasses. Add 1 tbsp maple syrup to each. Let sit 15–30 minutes to marinate.

- Sift 2 tsp matcha into a bowl. Add 2–3 tbsp hot water. Whisk using a bamboo whisk in a 'W' motion until smooth and frothy. Repeat for second serving.

- Pour 1 cup of oat milk into each glass over the boba. Top with prepared matcha. Add ice if desired and stir before drinking.
