Ingredients

Base Ingredients
  • 1 cup warm filtered water 40–50°C; warm enough to dissolve salt, cool enough to sip comfortably
  • 3–5 grains Persian blue salt micro-pinch (~30–50 mg sodium)
Optional Additions
  • 1 tsp organic beetroot powder adds dietary nitrates for vascular tone support
  • 300–600 mg Panax ginseng extract optional; standardized to 5–7% ginsenosides
  • 1 tsp gelatinized maca powder optional; not raw, gentler on digestion

Equipment

  • Ceramic or glass mug

Method

  1. Step 1: Pour freshly boiled water into a ceramic or glass mug. Let rest 3–4 minutes until warm (not hot).
  2. Step 2: Add 3–5 grains of Persian blue salt. Stir gently for 20 seconds until fully dissolved. If you taste saltiness, reduce amount.
  3. Step 3: Optionally whisk in beetroot powder, ginseng, or maca — but not both adaptogens together.
  4. Step 4: Sip slowly over 5–7 minutes, ideally 15–30 minutes before light activity or focused work. Do not repeat within 24 hours.
  5. Pro Tip: Pair with 5 minutes of box breathing (4-4-4-4) for enhanced calm and focus.

Notes

This ritual is not about performance — it's about presence. Always prepare fresh; do not store or reheat. For sodium-sensitive individuals, omit salt and substitute ½ tsp lemon juice + pinch of cream of tartar.
